Union Township Man Indicted on 84 Counts Including 29 Counts of Rape

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 27, 2024

Clermont County Prosecutor Mark J. Tekulve announced that a Clermont County Grand Jury returned a direct indictment against Charlie B. Theaderman, age 49, of Union Township, Ohio. Theaderman was indicted today, June 27, 2024, on a total of 84 counts, including 29 separate counts of Rape, numerous counts of Sexual Battery, and Pandering in Sexually Oriented Matter involving a minor, for filming his acts of rape with his unwilling victim. If convicted on all counts, Theaderman could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Theaderman has been locked up since September of 2022. The Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office first indicted Theaderman for 39 counts, for Rape, Pandering in Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, and more. In 2023, after discovering files that had been deleted by Theaderman, the Prosecutor’s Office indicted Theaderman for 22 additional counts. The most serious of which are Rape, and Pandering in Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, where he, again was caught recording his heinous crimes. Thank you to those who came forward with information that led officers to much more evidence that had gone undetected for so many months. Union Township officers worked tirelessly to collect and comb through the obscene amounts of rape videos Theaderman had created.
