Applications for the position of Assistant Prosecutor, Paralegal, and Victim Advocate are accepted on an ongoing basis. They are maintained for a period of two (2) years. If a position becomes available, you may be contacted. Please include a letter of interest, current resume, and references.
- Assistant Prosecutor– minimum qualifications include Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the State of Ohio.
- Paralegal-minimum qualifications include Post graduate degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies and/or at least one year experience working in a law firm or legal office setting. Customer service skills, including answering the telephone and meeting clients, ability to draft legal motions and entries, and understanding basic legal terminology is required. Applicant must be a current notary or able to receive their notary license within six months of hire.
- Victim Advocate-minimum qualifications include associates degree in a criminal justice, psychology, or sociology related field OR experience working in the field of victim advocacy. On the job training will be provided. Applicant must be willing to apply and maintain the status of registered advocate through the Ohio Victim Witness Association.
Salary is dependent on experience for all positions.
