Man Convicted of 12 Counts Including Involuntary Manslaughter in Fentanyl Overdose Death

CONVICTED OF 12 SEPARATE COUNTS INCLUDING INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER
Clermont County Prosecutor Mark J. Tekulve announces that yesterday, March 6, 2025 at the conclusion of a 4-day trial, a Clermont County jury convicted Roger Graszl of 12 counts, which included Involuntary Manslaughter, Trafficking in Persons – Commercial Sex Acts, Compelling Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution, Trafficking in a Fentanyl-Related Compound, Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, and Tampering with Evidence.
On May 26, 2023 through May 27, 2023, Roger Graszl lured the victim, Tabitha Douglas, to his residence for the purposes of paying her for sex with money and drugs. Graszl gave the victim a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl, which caused her to overdose and die. The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into Ms. Douglas’s death. They were able to link Ms. Douglas’s death to Graszl. Through that investigation, the Sheriff’s Office also determined the Defendant was involved in Trafficking in Persons for Commercial Sex Acts, Compelling Prostitution, and Promoting Prostitution with many other women. Graszl used money and drugs to lure drug addicted women to his residence for sexual favors. Graszl was also involved in drug trafficking.
Roger Graszl faces up to over 30 years in prison and will be a registered sex offender.
