Clermont County Man Convicted of 25 Counts Against Children and Indicted Again for 40 Additional Counts of Sex Acts Against a Minor
Clermont County
Today, Clermont County Prosecutor Mark J. Tekulve announced that last week, at the conclusion of a 4-day trial, a Clermont County jury convicted Gary Chisenhall, Jr. of 2 counts of Corrupting Another with Drugs, 19 counts of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, 1 count of Endangering Children, 1 count of Gross Sexual Imposition and 2 counts of Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles.
The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Investigator not only collected copious amounts of evidence to present against Chisenhall during the trial, but she also gathered evidence of additional sexual crimes against another child-victim leading up to the trial. That additional evidence was presented to the Grand Jury this morning, and the Grand Jury returned a 40 count indictment against Chisenhall for Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a minor. Today’s indictment involves an entirely different victim than last week’s guilty convictions.
For his guilty convictions, Chisenhall faces up to 109.5 years in prison; and for today’s indictment, he faces 200 years in prison.
“My office is committed to ensuring that anyone who perpetrates sexual abuse against young children in Clermont County spends the rest of his life in prison.”
– Mark J. Tekulve, Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney.
