About Mark J. Tekulve
Following his election in November of 2020, Mark J. Tekulve began his term as the Clermont County Prosecutor on January 4, 2021. Prosecutor Tekulve is a lifelong resident of Clermont County. He brings decades of legal experience and a deep commitment to public service and community safety. He was re-elected in 2024 and started his second term on January 6, 2025.
Prosecutor Tekulve earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Xavier University in 1981 and went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1987 and gained admission to practice before the United States District Court in 1988.
IN 1989, prosecutor Tekulve began his career in public service as an Assistant Prosecutor in Clermont County. Over the course of nearly two decades, he served in multiple divisions-including County Court and Common Pleas Court- and was appointed Chief Assistant in Municipal Court from 1990 to 2000. His experience in these roles laid a strong foundation for his leadership as County Prosecutor.
With a career grounded in justice and integrity, Mark J. Tekulve remains focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens of Clermont County while upholding the highest standards of the legal profession.
