Milford Women Indicted for Thirteen Counts of Identity Fraud, One Count of Telecommunications Harassment, and One Count of Grand Theft
Clermont County Prosecutor Mark J. Tekulve announces that on February 10, 2026, a Clermont County Grand Jury indicted Alexandria Alexus Frank of Milford, Ohio, age 31, on thirteen counts of identity fraud, one count of telecommunications fraud, and one count of grand theft for her two year-long scheme of stealing from a childcare center.
Frank, an employee of the center, began stealing money from the company in late 2023. She would either create fake employees by using identities of real people and adding them to the payroll, funneling their paychecks into her own accounts, or she would use the personal information of former employees and would pay money to herself in their names. Frank would also forge checks that were supposed to go to the childcare center and would deposit them into her own accounts. Frank maintained numerous bank accounts and managed to keep the company in the dark until a new treasurer for the daycare center took over and noticed some discrepancies. The childcare center was near bankruptcy as a result of her crimes.
After an exhaustive investigation, Milford Police uncovered a grand theft exceeding $150,000, at least 13 cases of identity fraud stemming from at least 130 fraudulent paycheck transactions, and more than 50 fraudulent checks.
If convicted on all counts, Frank faces more than 30 years in prison.
